Goldstar Microwave

Goldstar MA-1012 W/B

Medium-Size Goldstar Microwave

The Goldstar MA-1012 W/B is a convenient little tabletop model, affordable for even the slimmest of budgets. With desirable features such as programmed defrost and nine categories of automated cooking, the MA-1012 packs in plenty of value. Each automated program can be adjusted by 10 seconds more or less to meet your personal cooking preferences. Since you won't find a sensor on this budget model, some calculations on your part may be required for cooking varying amounts of food. Although light weight and easy to carry, some users might find this unit to have a tendency to slide forward when the door is pulled open. This can result in spillage, especially with liquids. On the other hand, the concurrent timer is a handy addition that is not often found on units at this price. It allows timing in the kitchen to be done separately from the foods being prepared in the microwave.

Goldstar MA-2107ST

Full-Size Microwave Ovens

A spacious and good-looking stainless-steel model, the Goldstar MA-2107ST offers "just the basics" at an attractive price. Since you won't find a sensor on this budget model, some calculations on your part may be required for cooking varying amounts of food. While fairly basic, this unit still offers desirable features, such as nine categories of automated cooking and programmed defrost for steaks/chops, meat, and poultry. Each of these automated programs can be adjusted 10 seconds more or less to meet your personal cooking preferences. Another nice touch is the customizing program that allows you to program some of your personal favourite cooking times. The display is digital, and a child lockout is also offered. Since this is a large model, plan on giving up a substantial amount of counter space to accommodate it.
