Short, concise advice on reheating food in the microwave.

Reheating in the microwave oven

When reheating meals, check the moisture of the food before putting it in the microwave. A couple of tablespoons of water may need to be added before reheating for moisture.

Cover foods with a lid or a microwave-safe plastic wrap, which will also hold in more moisture and provide safe, even heating.

Whilst reheating food, make sure it is heated all the way through. You also may find that 50% power works better, so practice. After reheating foods in the microwave oven, allow standing time.
